I went there today, December 8, 2022 and the young lady I went to first was pleasant and very helpful (thank you) then i went to the reference desk and the young man there (Chad) was awesome, he quickly helped me with my request and helping me get onto the computer and helping me navigate through it, then went on to explain to me about the remodeling work being done and activities he has put together himself. Like the book club for adults, bingo, coloring books for adults to de-stress their busy life just for a little while. People please take advantage of these sources Chad offer and the other staff members. Remember at one time we could not have, own, or have a book. Now it's at our own finger tips. The Scotlandville Branch employees are awesome and you feel comfortable there. Check it out.

Nice branch. Located close by Southern University, so very convenient. The staff were friendly, didn't need much help but the environment felt safe and welcoming
