About this class

The Bluebonnet Regional Branch Library offers a variety of engaging storytime sessions for your little one. They have Lapsit Storytime for babies from birth through crawling, Toddler Time for walkers up to age two, and Preschool Storytime for children ages three to five. These sessions are filled with books, songs, and fingerplays, making them a delightful way to introduce your kiddo to the joys of reading. Plus, it's a great opportunity to meet other parents and share experiences. I know how challenging it can be to find activities that both you and your child will enjoy, but this could be a wonderful fit.

Families love the fun little details, like the conveyor belt book return at the Bluebonnet Branch – kids can’t get enough of watching their books disappear! Pro tip: if you're looking for a quiet study spot, you might want to look elsewhere.

Not good for quiet study, even in the designated areas. This is the loudest library I have ever been to, and the librarians were usually the ones being loud. The view of the forest was very nice, but overall I do not recommend the library if you want quiet study. Visited 2/2/2026. The ladies at the desk spoke above full volume.

I'm a visitor in town and was picking up a book for my mom. The librarians were great, I got the book checked out easily, and the building is beautiful. There was a great display in the foyer. I used my phone to access the artist's web pages so I'm benefitting even after I got home.

The local libraries are an invaluable asset to East Baton Rouge Parish. The librarians are always helpful and attentive, creating a welcoming environment for everyone. My kids especially love the conveyor belt return bin at the Bluebonnet Branch – it's a fun experience for them to drop their books and watch them disappear into the unknown! With easy parking, clean grounds, and a fantastic selection of books, there's truly nothing not to love about our local libraries!

Very rude librarian lady from the reference desk, 6/10/25 approx. 3pm, short blonde hair, dark maroon shirt --'helping' someone at the computer area, very rude and angry tone, telling the patron 'it's not her job' to assist further. LOUD librarian, can't concentrate with her fussing, and raising her voice to the patron, was embarrassing her frankly. Patron asked her to be nice and she defensively responded that she WAS being nice, smh... nope. Kind of shocking how rude she was.. Kept having questions and kept coming back to fuss over and over, it was very annoying. I think the librarian's name might have been Dianne not sure.
