Dongan Hills Library | Staten Island, NY

I visited this library because New Drop Library was closed for maintenance. This library is well organized, and has a great selection of books specially for kids. The librarian and staff are friendly and welcoming, which made my experience even better.

The library is very organized, clean, and Soo welcoming. Everyone here is so responsive and helpful. There's also m ample outlets on the bottoms of the shelves and by the computer tables. They even have an awesome kids section that's setup great for little learners.

Always a great experience. It’s clean and well kept, the staff are genuinely helpful, and my daughters love coming here.

One of the best libraries on the island.Bring your children...there is so much to do and play.They have a wonderful butterfly garden and vegetable garden.There is so much to see and do inside also.Thanks Dongan Hills staff! Great job

- it's part of the NYPL system, so you have access to millions of books. - they have activities going on through the week, and they let you know beforehand in calendar. - they have activities for kids of all ages. They enjoy going to the library. - staff is very friendly, especially with kids. They help finding books, assisting with toys etc. - building had enough space for the kids, adults activities etc. p My only complaint would be the parking issue. Library bring on terrible Richmond Road street parking doesn't feel safe.
