Cooperative Nursery School of Ridgewood | Bergen County, NJ

The co-op nursery school has been the best choice we made since moving to the area. My son, now in kinder, thrived with the warm, caring staff and well thought out curriculum, balanced with plenty of play time. He graduated more than prepared both academically and socially. I have a daughter now in the 3's class and another who will be going in a few years! Between meeting friends (both for moms and kids!) and the awesome events and caring community you can bring your kids knowing they are cared for like they are the teachers own. Would recommend 1000%.

My oldest has been at the coop for 3 years now and my youngest has just started in Toddler and Me. I could not have wished for a better start to my kids' education. The school is warm, well-run, community-based, and strong academically in a very low-pressure, fun way. The teachers are all well-qualified, intelligent and loving. I can't recommend it highly enough!

I could not imagine a better place to send your little ones for their first time in school. The teachers and staff are experienced, warm, loving and fun. I am eternally grateful for the Co-op and TO the Co-op for providing such a wonderful place to send my babies!

The Co-op Nursery School of Ridgewood has been such a comforting and positive experience for my family. As first-time parents, finding the best fit for you and your child can be nerve wracking. The co-op checked all our boxes for professional and engaging teachers and staff, safety, cleanliness, and parent involvement. My daughter loves attending class and learning in a play-based environment. The Co-op community truly feels like extended family.

Our family has had such a wonderful experience at the Ridgewood Co-op. My eldest daughter is in her second year, and my younger one will be starting Mommy & Me in January. I liked the idea of a co-op & being in the classroom occasionally to experience it first-hand with my daughter (& all the kids love the days that their mom is the "helper" in class), but what I didn't fully expect was the sense of community among the families. We were new to town and it has been a great way to make friends. It has also been a great first school experience for my daughter. The teachers are great at creating a warm, welcoming, fun & creative environment for the kids, where they learn so much without even realizing it. My daughter always comes home full of news about her day. If you are looking at preschools in the Ridgewood area, and are interested in exploring the co-op option, you definitely have to check out this school and see all that it has to offer.
