My City Island Library has the most helpful staff. They are always willing to help me find books, place holds on books and discuss authors. They have many interesting programs available for all ages and are open to suggestions.

Cute, small, and extremely clean library. I was off from work and noticed they offered an origami class on Wednesday. I appreciated the warm welcome from the group of ladies in the class. Jeff was an excellent and patient origami instructor. Next time I'm off from work on a Wednesday, I'll be sure to stop by for another origami class.

What a wonderful woman helped me today to check out the books I placed on hold and picked up today. It was an eerie reminder of Covid taking your temperature and being led through the aisles to pick up your own books and then check out. It was comforting to be able to check out books as well. Safety protocols are in place and made me feel protected. The woman helped me with some questions I had with Overdrive and resolved them happily.
