This place is everything you want in a kid-friendly adventure—educational, interactive, colorful, AND chaotic in the best way possible! If you’re in or around Denver area and have a little one (or a few), the Children’s Museum of Denver is a must—like, don’t even think twice; just go (we’re from Colorado Springs area and drove about an hour and a half to explore here) 🫡 From the second you pull up, you already know your kid’s gonna have the best day ever. The museum itself is super easy to spot with its big geometric architecture and colorful outdoor spaces—it gives playground meets museum meets mini theme park vibes ✨ Do plan ahead because we went on a weekday (Wednesday) and it was STILL pretty packed and parking was sufficient, but far from the entrance 🤔 If you’re hunting for a high-energy, imaginative, screen-free experience to burn that toddler energy and make memories—this is it! 🥰

Weekday afternoons are a great time to visit. Younger kids have a lot of fun. Some more frequently rotated exhibits would be nice to see- after a few visits, the place loses its charm. I also wish they had EV chargers so people could charge while there for a few hours.

This place can be very packed. They offer discounted prices for those with Colorado ebt cards, and they have a large selection of things to do. I reccomend going during the school year not during the summer, the giant playground is 5 years and up so keep that in mind. Very clean facility, they have nursing areas for breastfeeding moms and water play. They have family bathrooms, an art studio, outdoor activities including zip lining, more water play, hay maze, stuff to explore that’s kid size, a large and wide slide, bubble room, building room with real wood, a fire truck and veterinarian theme area, a small play area for kids 36 months and under. A large indoor climbing space that goes up 3 levels, a stem area, multiple other play areas.

Very fun museum for a weekend with kids. They enjoyed it so much in each section of the place. It is easily spent 3 to 4 hours there. Also, they have free wheelchair provided for people who are in need. One thing to note, Since it is a museum for children, they charge baby and toddler for an entrance fee as well.

I came with my Hubby, our son, my 2 brother in laws and 1 of their sons. Both of our kids were 8 years old . This place was super cool! Definitely so many activities to keep their overactive minds entertained! We love trying to find different family-oriented activities that peak their interest & this place didn't disappoint!!
