Brooklyn Public Library - Sunset Park Branch | Brooklyn, NY

Katie is a librarian in the YA section at the library. So nice and informative. All the people that you see at the desk are the same way. I’m sure. This is a beautiful library and it’s equipped with everything. Don’t worry about clean bathrooms, don’t worry about comfort and books of course books. And love they love children. Everything is very beautiful and clean and there’s ways to get into the library if you have a wheelchair. Don’t worry, just go in and enjoy yourself oh and there are lots of donation machinery there that is easy to use.

They’re very nice here. On my first visit I was very confused on how to print things and they were very patient and helpful. I have only come here to print so far, but it was also very easy to get a library card which I ended up finding out that I had an old account for which I was able to re open. Prints are 10 cents per page, and the ink is always good in my experience.

This branch feels lively, in a good way. The layout is done in a way that provides ample space while also being able to maneuver your way around without getting lost. Youth and teens wings are on separate floors. The large windows let in natural light on thebmIn and upper levels. Staff is helpful.

love it smm, very quiet and clean. staff is kind and helping and also there is a family bathroom that is clean and has the full doors (which is so good) there is also wifi and charging outlets and tons of books & even magazines here!!

I had initially judged this place quite harshly if I must say so myself. - I thought that this space could still use a lot of work- However, I’m glad to give an updated review of my local library. - After the reopening and renovation, I am very happy with the quality of service being provided by this location. - The staff have actually been quite helpful to me during the times I’ve needed to use the printer, as well as helping me checkout efficiently throughout the past year, and even letting my service dog in with no issues, like other places give me. I love to check the bulletin boards and they have tons of free resources for the community. - all around thumbs up. Major improvements have been made here and I am grateful! P.S if you’re like me and like to check out tons of books, don’t forget to BRING YOUR OWN BAG!✨
