I knew it.. I knew it with all my heart that one day the Holy Bible would no longer exist at this library. And because of that, whenever I would visit this branch, I would go and check on the bible to see if it was still there. And as time went on, the bible was no longer front and center. After awhile, it was shelved away with other books-from having been front and center. I was so shocked to find that the bible was no longer in the library yesterday; and so I had asked the manager what happened. I was told that because the bible is such a “popular” book, it was borrowed by library patrons, and had not been “returned”. Next, I had spoken to someone at the front desk to try and put a bible on hold for me, get it delivered to the branch, then check it back in the same day so that it could be put back where it belongs; which is on the shelf, providing hope to humanity. Then I was told that there were no bibles left in the library’s catalog! All the bibles were removed. A copy could not be placed on hold for me because it no longer existed. I could not believe it! Here’s a fun fact about the bible: “The best-selling book of all time is the Christian Bible.” - guinness bookworldrecords.com. No other book on earth has sold more copies than the Christian Bible.

Good selection of kids books. That being said, it is so dirty around the kids area. Don't know if they clean later in the day but floors and tables were so grimy. You would think they would clean a bit more during sick season

A much needed, well maintained Public Library. Always a friendly librarian to patiently answer any questions. It is quite small, but well organized. Lots of young kids go there for reading activities, thus it has a large children’s section. I use it to reserve books when I get tired of reading via Kindle. This library is a huge, necessary ingredient in my neighborhood. I’m glad it’s there.

The library is close to where I live, so it’s convenient. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I try to get personal and work projects done here. It can be difficult because it can feel like a call center at times. Which; even with headphones, it can be inconvenient. I doubt it’ll change, because public libraries all around N.Y.C seem to be heading this direction; especially with more kids and parent programs becoming available.
