British Swim School Rice Village at 24 Hour Fitness | Harris County, TX

We absolutely love British Swim School. My 5- and 8-year-old both take lessons here, and I can’t say enough good things about the swim teachers. They are incredibly professional, patient, and truly know how to connect with kids. The boys genuinely look forward to coming, which says everything. Having an indoor pool is a huge plus because it means consistent training no matter the weather, and that reliability has made a big difference in their progress and confidence in the water. On top of that, the phone support has always been friendly, responsive, and really helpful whenever I’ve had questions or needed to make changes. And honestly, you can’t beat the price for the quality of instruction and service you get. It feels like great value without compromising on care or professionalism. British Swim School has created an environment that’s welcoming, safe, and focused on helping kids succeed in the water. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a top-notch swim program.

Elmer, AK and the rest of gang at British Swim School are great. My daughter was a proficient swimmer when she started there, but she didn’t know all of the strokes. In about 6 months she has learned all four strokes and can do flip turns, and has real power behind her strokes. My husband and I were so impressed that we both started taking lessons so that we could be stronger more proficient swimmers. I would recommend them to anyone. For reference our ages are 15, 47 and 62 and they managed to make curriculum that works for all of us during our lesson.

I’ve had an absolutely wonderful experience at this swim school. Their adult swim lessons are genuinely exceptional — structured, encouraging, and tailored to every learner’s comfort level. As someone who was nervous at first, I felt supported from day one. The instructors are truly amazing. They’re patient, highly skilled, and incredibly motivating. They break everything down in a way that makes it easy to understand. If you’re an adult looking to learn how to swim or improve your skills, this is the best place to be. I can’t recommend them enough! Elmer is an outstanding instructor — always motivating, always patient, and always breaking down each step in a way that makes everything feel achievable

Our 4-year-old has made incredible progress and the coaches are all wonderful. We tried lessons with another program without any change, so we made the change over to British Swim School. She is now jumping in to the pool unassisted, floating on her back and diving down to retrieve toys. Would recommend British Swim School to any parent looking for swim lessons for their kids.

Very good place to have your kiddos start swimming confidently. The managers and instructors made it a safe and fun place to learn. My daughter started at the first level about 5 months ago and now she just moved to the 3rd last level. I love the progress I’m seeing and will continue to come until she finishes the last level and be able to compete. Kudos to the BSS team!
