I took the The 4-Week Birth Class, and enjoyed everything about the class! This class helped make me feel grounded in the idea of labor and birth, demystifying and de-pathologizing the process. I had done plenty of reading and talking with other parents before this class and still feel like it rounded out my knowledge and answered lots of questions. My husband loved it, too. He feels better prepared and knowledgeable, and empowered to be an active participant during labor. Our class was with Jessica, who is a skilled teacher and experienced in the process of birth, while also being educated on evidence-based best practices. She had a balanced approach and I walked away knowing my options. Additionally, it was a great place to meet other parents. The people in our class were absolutely lovely!

We absolutely loved the four part birthing class we took at Birth Roots. Our teacher Jessica was extremely knowledgeable and communicative. The entire process answered so many concerns we had as first time parents, and we met a great group of people along the way! We highly recommend Birth Roots!

Loved the 4 week class! We met other couples who we have become friends with and this felt like a nice group therapy session for soon to be parents. I love how engaged everyone was in all the class components and I learned so much. I took lots of notes to share with my doctor and doula. I'm actually really excited for the labor part of birth now (ask me later how I felt haha). It also made the final part of pregnancy go by quickly because you had something to look forward to each week after work and each class felt like another positive pregnancy milestone. Overall I'd recommend this 4 week series to any soon to be parent. Thanks Jessica!

The 4 week birth class was excellent. It was so informative and supportive and we met a bunch of wonderful people. I highly recommend this class for expecting parents! Our instructor Jessica was awesome! Thank you!

The Buds class was a great way to learn about parenting and newborns while also developing a community of support. I felt empowered by the new information and left the class feeling less overwhelmed every time. I was also happy to meet other parents navigating the same period of development as my husband and me. This community building was a really important part of the class for me.
