My 8-year-old daughter began taking violin lessons in January with Ruth, who has made classes both fun and challenging for my daughter. Ruth’s years of experience and her dedication to teaching come through at every lesson. Highly recommend!

**A Truly Exceptional Violin Teacher** Taking lessons with Frank has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my musical journey. From the very first lesson, it was clear that he possesses not only an extraordinary mastery of the violin but also a rare gift for teaching. Every session is thoughtfully structured, incredibly encouraging, and tailored to my personal growth as a musician. What sets Frank apart is his ability to break down complex techniques into clear, manageable steps while maintaining a deep focus on musicality and expression. He brings such patience, positivity, and enthusiasm that even the most challenging pieces become enjoyable to work through. His dedication to my progress, both technically and artistically, has inspired a deeper love and appreciation for the violin. I always leave lessons feeling motivated and supported, knowing I’m being guided by someone who truly cares about his students’ success. I’m incredibly grateful to be learning from such a passionate, skilled, and nurturing teacher. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, I can’t recommend Frank highly enough!

I’ve been taking ukulele lessons with Eric Liffmann at the Baton Rouge Conservatory of Music for two years, and the experience has been transformative. It is difficult to express how wonderful it has been at age 55 to add a completely different creative dimension into my life by learning to play a musical instrument. I have almost no musical background, but now I can read music and play the ukulele! Eric’s patience, expertise, and talent have made this journey both enjoyable and successful. From the very first lesson, Eric created an environment that felt welcoming and supportive, allowing me to learn at my own pace without feeling overwhelmed. He has a unique ability to break down complex techniques into manageable steps, which helped me stay motivated and encouraged me to keep practicing. His deep knowledge of music theory and practical tips have been *instrumental* in my progress. I could never have come this far on my own. I would have quit long ago if I had just tried learning from the Internet. Eric’s feedbac, personalized guidance, and most of all, patience, have accelerated my growth in a way self-study never could. Thanks to his teaching, I’ve reached a level I’m truly proud of. I recommend Baton Rouge Conservatory highly (my 5-year-old great niece is learning piano here, too). And if you want to study ukulele or guitar, I cannot imagine a better teacher than Eric Liffmann.
