Yet another community gem in Queens with a great selection of books, and ZINES!! My first time here, I walked from Jackson Heights with my friend and I encountered a horror anthology based on Asian mythology??? Which is super cool???? And the second time I came here, I found all 3 books I was looking for, and also picked up these hyper specific zines in the photo that are basically a summary of my life (called OUT). They also have a section for books in Spanish, and very cute tote bags for books. This place has become one of my many reasons to visit Astoria!

I happily purchased ‘Dogs, Boys, And Other Things I’ve Cried About’ by Isabel Klee after learning the book would be signed by the author, and her dog, Simon. The bookstore kept me informed regarding my order and when it shipped. It arrived in perfect condition and I’m loving my new read. I highly recommend this bookshop and can’t wait to visit in person someday.

Cute little local bookshop! Their collection is small but curated. They also have cute book merch like tote bags and bookmarks. They also have a cute trolley cart with free books! I thought that was so nice and gave back to the community. Shop locally here for all your book needs!

I’ve been ordering online through Astoria since November 2025 and they have been such a great indie bookstore to shop from. Some books were sent a bit earlier than release date and I’ve been super happy to receive books from them. Highly recommend!
