Aqua-Tots Swim School Cypress | Harris County, TX
About this class
Aqua-Tots is one of those swim schools that actually gets it - they know you're not just looking for someone to splash around with your kiddo, but someone who can teach real water safety skills without making it feel like boot camp. The 4:1 ratio means your little one isn't getting lost in a crowd of kids, and honestly, their instructors seem to know what they're doing with over 40 hours of training (which is way more than most places). They're super flexible about makeup lessons too, because let's be real - toddlers get sick at the worst possible times and family vacations don't always align with swim schedules. The whole setup feels professional but not intimidating, with viewing areas where you can actually see what's happening instead of being stuck in some cramped hallway. Because juggling a million things while trying to keep your kid safe around water is hard enough without adding scheduling nightmares to the mix.
Families love the supportive vibe at Aqua Tots, where coaches like Draven and Sarah turn swim lessons into something your kiddo genuinely looks forward to each week!

Started here about 9 months ago. We have had some good coaches, until the management changed and they all left. I’m not sure what is going on. For the first 7 months I didn’t see management in the building when I came. However when the new management started they were there every time . One of them asking parents questions to get data but in a way trying to sale more lessons. I recently needed to cancel and noticed all the coaches where TBD and only a few coaches remained the same. Most of the girls are now gone. It’s a red flag when most of the staff are quitting. Also odd that when talking to the girls up front the manager rushes to hear the conversation. My child doesn’t like change and the days we had set- changed .. we like consistency for her personality and needs. It takes forever to level up. They don’t have tablets anymore to keep up with progress so I’m not sure how they are tracking or keeping everything updated. Their new price schedule cost me more. The bathrooms and facility is always clean. You are always greeted at the door. Edit 3/2 within one week everyone is new- beyond crazy. The new manager is all over everyone. Pushy and up in peoples conversations. Very pushy with a tour that I noticed and so pushy the parent felt like she had to sign up. We have decided to give a month notice and use up the make ups and go somewhere else.

The instructors are great! My daughter has had most of her lessons with Coach Draven and Coach Sarah, and they have both been incredibly patient and kind with her. They’ve created a really supportive environment, and we truly appreciate the care they show the kids.

Sarah has been such a blessing for Ishmail. He genuinely looks forward to his Saturday swim lessons because of her. She is incredibly patient, encouraging, and so attentive to his needs. Her ability to stay calm and positive while teaching is truly impressive. She takes the time to explain things in a way that builds his confidence, and we’ve seen so much improvement in his skills because of her guidance. We are so grateful for the care and dedication she shows every week. It really makes a difference.

Draven has been absolutely amazing with Ishmail. He looks forward to his Thursday lessons every single week. Draven’s patience is truly impeccable — he never rushes him and always makes sure he understands each skill before moving forward. He creates such a supportive and motivating environment. Ishmail feels comfortable, confident, and excited to learn, which says everything. We can clearly see the progress, and it’s all thanks to Draven’s consistency and encouragement. We are very thankful to have him as an instructor.
