SwimLabs Swim School ABQ | Bernalillo County, NM
About this class
Parents mention that their kids have blossomed in confidence since joining Swim Labs, with one little one now eagerly jumping into the pool, a stark contrast to their initial fears. However, fair warning: some families have found the inconsistency in coaching and the setup of the pool a bit frustrating, so it's worth keeping an eye on your child's progress.

My family loves Swimlabs. Teachers are great, and lessons are normally so much fun. However the new set up of the pool is disappointing. The kids only have a few feet to be able to swim each class, and the kids are getting confused what class’ they’re in. Looks like the owner is caring more about how many classes they have going on, instead of the quality of each lesson. I would love to see the pools set up better for each teacher and kids to learn efficiently.

Started out great, making progress with our two swimmers. Then things progressively got worse. Revolving door of young coaches with little experience with kids. Seem more interested in squirting each other with squirt toys then actually helping kids learn. We have not seen progress in over 3 months. No one in charge around to talk to. Leaving because the price we have been paying is definitely not worth it. Disappointed in how things are going. I don't recommend it.

We have been so happy with our experience at Swim Labs. Our son has excelled in his confidence in the water and loves his coaches. He used to hate getting in the water and now loves going to his swim lessons.

Our family has had a great experience at SwimLabs. My kids have liked their instructors, and they are significantly more confident in the water since starting lessons and now have much more fun at pool parties. My kids are a little older taking lessons (thanks, Covid) so they are in lessons with kids younger than them, sometimes by a few years, but it hasn’t been an issue. Progress is measured regularly and recorded in the parent portal, so I can see how they are doing and remind them beforehand what they need to work on for that class. As far as scheduling, they have always been very accommodating and patient with me - with multiple kids it can be hard to line things up. The location is well-kept and welcoming.

Kids love it,if there is a extra week they do charge extra that month, you have to remind them to do a monthly test on your child add the app so you can track the child achievements there are just few things 1. Time is more money some coaches are talking to much to other coaches and kids. 2. Kid has not advances in four months on the unstarred not causee he can't but cause he was not worked with on those things I watched and monitored they showed him things he had already completed. 3. Shower curtain is dirty it can be afforded to be changed specifically with the amount of income the company is making 4. The ladies in the front are not welcoming and if you stand in the front for help not acknowledge 5. They recently added a other star after the fact he passed all them and now we're back to square one smh. When tested he literally tested him on three things I watched. So frustrating . Just save your self the time and money and find some where else.
