I can't say enough great things about Music and Dance Academy! My son has been taking piano lessons here with Mrs. Tamara, and his progress under her guidance has been truly remarkable. She is a dedicated and skilled teacher who has helped him become a more focused and confident player as he prepares for his Level 1 RCM exam. The academy is home to many talented students, which is a testament to the incredible teachers who nurture and inspire them. The environment is supportive, professional, and filled with a love for music and the arts. If you're looking for high-quality music education, I highly recommend Music and Dance Academy! My son loves it here, and I love it. We couldn't be happier.

My daughter has been a student at the Music and Dance academy for over 3 years. She has enjoyed every teacher that she’s worked with here over the years. They really try to match where the child is with the appropriate instructors. Our current teacher, Miss Kat, is so imaginative. She really makes it fun and engaging for younger kids but also adapts for older students as well. She’s a playful and detailed teacher. Clear communication and guidance. She listens to the kids and parents input and works to help you be part of the process. So that parents are partners and secondary teachers to their kids; they teach the parents a bit as well. This methodology fosters curiosity and love of the instrument they are learning. The academy facilitates piano recitals for the kids throughout the year at various locations and size. The kids really take it seriously and want you to see what they’ve been working on and are proud of themselves. The Halloween and Christmas recitals are very fun and entertaining. It’s such a great way to celebrate your child’s hard work! This, in my opinion, is something that makes paying a little extra for piano lessons worth it. There are many different opportunities throughout the year to perform in front of an audience, on stage, and is motivating to the students to continue practicing and helps the learner have a goal to work towards. The front facing business side of the house is very supportive and helpful. They feel like part of the family, watching our kids grow up and learn. They’ve been very accommodating with our family through the years and supportive of our changing needs. It’s a lot of work to organize schedules and communications, and this team does an excellent job. On the dance side, we’ve seen some very talented teachers come through here! They interview and have them do a couple trial classes and really work to hire people who work well with the kids and are fun and engaging! My daughter has loved all the classes she was able to participate in! You will not regret coming here. My daughter has been very clear with me that she loves piano and doesn’t want to give it up anytime soon. I attribute this to the approach Music and Dance Academy has taken and the wonderful teachers that she’s been working with. Absolutely recommend coming to Music and Dance Academy!

We love Music and Dance academy. The team of instructors are so knowledgeable and very helpful. We started with music fun time at 3years old and continued with Piano practice and my boy has advanced so much since then. We have done so many recitals and performances now that he is 7 and looking forward for the next step of competitions. I would recommend it to anyone that likes to learn music no matter the age.

The academy is professionally managed and is dedicated to the education and safety of the students. The management team of Tami, Maria, and Trish is friendly, and goes out of its way to support student success. Instructor Miss Isa is extremely knowledgeable and organized, and has a natural rapport with children. We drive a long way to go to the academy and it’s worth it! We couldn’t be happier!

Great place for your kids to learn maybe Dance...but I'm an octogenarian studying Bass and the instruction quality is long term and excellent. Tami has recently taken the helm officially, and she is a charming, forward thinking manager. Best in Tucson!
