We’ve been attending LoveBug & Me classes in South Pasadena for the past few months and it’s been a great experience. My daughter Olive looks forward to it every week. Her favorite teacher is Miss Armie—she’s kind, consistent, and really good with the kids. We’ve tried both the music and sensory art classes. The sensory art class is a great way to let kids explore and get messy without having to clean it all up at home. Each class starts with a hello song, then a simple craft, followed by playtime in sensory bins with different textures and themes. They end with a goodbye song and a quick visit from the LoveBug puppet, which Olive looks forward to and now mimics at home. The music class includes live singing, instruments, movement, and familiar songs that Olive will often sing again later. It’s interactive and keeps the kids engaged. Booking is easy, and the makeup policy is flexible, which is helpful with a toddler’s schedule. We’re hoping Thursday classes are added soon so we can attend more regularly. (Disclosure: I’m part of LoveBug & Me’s ambassador program and receive a small discount in exchange for sharing honest feedback. This review is based on our actual experience.)

My son and I absolutely love the BabyBugs sensory art class at LoveBug & Me! Miss Armie brings incredible energy to every session—she sings beautifully, plays the guitar, and truly engages with each child individually. The class is the perfect mix of music, movement, and messy art, and it’s been such a joy watching my baby explore new textures and sounds in a safe, creative environment. We look forward to it every week!

My granddaughter was in Miss Armie's Sensory Art class. She absolutely adored Miss Armie. Each week the session started with a welcome song greeting each child by name by Miss Armie and the LoveBug puppet as well as a bucket with little rhythm instruments. Next was an art project based on the theme of the session. That was followed by two huge sensory containers filled with a variety of items that also were great for developing fine motor skills. Each week ended with a song, some dancing and a bubble machine followed by a good bye song and a hug and kiss for each child from the Love Bug puppet. A great experience that I highly recommend. In January we decided to try the music classes also at the South Pasadena location. My granddaughter's teacher is Miss Natalie who she also adores. She is always singing the LoveBug greeting song at home as well as in the car enroute to class and talks about Miss Natalie all the time. As soon as we enter the building she rushes to the gate entrance to the classroom so that she can give Miss Natalie a huge hug. She gets super excited when the LoveBug puppet "wakes up" and comes out to greet all the children. Another highlight for her is when the class dances to the music Miss Natalie is playing while dispensing bubbles from the bubble machine toward the end of class. The classes have various themes which are used to teach children a variety concepts such as counting, letters, hand eye coordination and other cultures through music, puppets, instruments, and other manipulatives. Helpful learning ideas are also offered to the adults at each class as well. We have now had two separate experiences with LoveBug classes and can't recommend them highly enough.

My daughter and I completed the sensory art series with Ms. Lindsay & Mr. Gabe. It was such a great time for us! First, they're the ideal instructors! They're kind, wonderful with kids, genuinely sweet, and know how to make each session fun. My daughter is 15 months old and loves attending class, seeing other children, and exploring! We created something special together to take home weekly. I can't recommend this class enough!

We started the Babybugs messy sensory art class for 0-18 months when my baby was 8 months old and loved it. Ms. Armie is so sweet and personable with the children, and it was really fun for me to watch my daughter come out of her shell. The class is a great way to expose your little one to so much - a little singing, a very loveable puppet, sensory bins & a weekly messy craft! I can tell she genuinely likes getting to explore all these new experiences and observe / interact with all the other babies as well.
