KidStrong Omaha | Douglas County, NE
About this class
Like all other KidStrong locations, this center focuses on building kids' confidence through structured 45-minute classes that mix physical challenges with character development - think obstacle courses combined with public speaking practice and friendly competition. The format is pretty consistent with clear segments like affirmations, skill-building, and competitions, so it's structured enough that shy kids feel secure but active enough that high-energy ones stay engaged. The coaches really emphasize the "I am strong, I am brave, I can do this" mentality, which honestly has carried over into how my child approaches challenges at home too. It's one of those programs where you can actually see your kiddo gaining confidence week by week, especially during those moments when parenting feels like you're just hoping something sticks.
Don't be surprised if your little one starts showing off their new skills at the park—parents rave about how quickly kids pick up movement techniques and share them with their friends!

I love seeing coaches that have high energy and really seem to care about the kids. They get to know their students, and they do a great job of helping them in class. The programming is fun, challenging, engaging, and I love that it is constantly changing. It's impressive how they do activities to challenge the body and mind, as well as help navigate feelings and self-esteem. My super shy daughter, while still being crazy shy, is finding a lot of strength in overcoming challenges in class. She's not a loud leader, but she leads quietly by successfully executing the different activities each week. She loves KidStrong and I love what it does for her!

Kid strong has been such an amazing resource for us to help teach our kiddo how to use his body, mind, and voice. It has definitely built up his own confidence in his physical capabilities. It has solidified ours as parents as well when we go places like the park where there is a lot climbing equipment, we feel much more comfortable giving him a little bit of freedom in knowing what his body can and can’t do. It has also helped him develop social skills in a class setting, something he doesn’t get a lot of since the kids stay home with me. As soon as my 1 year old is on her feet, you bet we will be signing her up too.

Where to start..The coaches here do such a tremendous job working with the kids and helping them grow intellectually and athletically. Building that confidence early is invaluable. The milestones each child meets are invaluable. Building confidence by the class. My personal opinion is that this has been better than pre-school for anyone's children that are at that age. I cannot recommend Kidstrong enough. We started my son at 4yrs old 2 years ago. He still loves going to class every Saturday.

We love our weekly family routine of going to KidStrong. Our daughter has been in the 2-3 class for the last year, and it has been the perfect program for her. She was very shy at first and is still reserved at times, but she is so confident in her physical abilities now and is eager to high five all her friends. It’s a great combination of physiological and social development, packaged into a fun, just-right 45 min session.

We have had our son attend Kid's Strong Omaha now 6 months. I have and will continue to recommend this program. Our son has some developmental delays due to extreme prematurity. His attention span varies from class to class, yet every single time their teachers are patient, respectful to him and encourage him to follow instructions with graciousness and kindness. They are consistent. He has bonded especially with Brandon and Talina(sp). Jude, Eli, and so many more are so good with him. He really has grown to love this class and gets super excited to participate. The types of skill sets they teach are consistent, progressive, and create a great structure for my son. His confidence and strength has increased greatly. It's like PT for him but not as expensive! He doesn't realize that the fun class is developmentally strengthening him too, which I love. Highly recommend for kids needing a little extra PT, but don't want to have to try to find another therapist. There are so many classes available throughout the week, makes it easier to find a time that works.
