About this class

At Gymboree on Kaonohi Street, every corner is filled with laughter and creativity, making it the perfect spot for families in Aiea to bond over art, music, and playful adventures.

Gymboree is one of those places that actually knows what they're doing with the little ones - they've got real curriculum backing up their play time, so it's not just expensive babysitting. Your kiddo will get to crawl around on different textures, slide down mini slides, and do all that sensory stuff that makes their brains happy, while you get to chat with other parents who also haven't showered in three days. The teachers are pretty hands-on with guiding activities but they're not militant about it, so if your crawler wants to explore that tunnel for the fifth time instead of doing circle time, nobody's going to stress about it. It's structured enough that you feel like you're actually helping with development, but chill enough that you won't feel like a failure when your kid has a meltdown halfway through. Because let's be real, we're all just winging it and hoping our kids turn out okay!

Fair warning: don't be surprised if your little one bursts into song after class—it's a new favorite around the house! 🎶

Love Love LOVE going to Gymboree with Miss Erica. It is totally worth the monthly dues. Not only does it get me (mom) out of the house, but my baby loves it too. We started going to Gymboree Pearlridge when she was about 5.5 months old. She enjoys every class getting to listen to singing, exploring the equipment and new toys, bubbles, and more. Watching the other babies/toddlers has also helped her social and physical skills as well. She totally has formed a bond with teacher Erica too. But more importantly than it being great for my little one, Gymboree has helped me make other mom/dad friends. I've become close to some so much that we hang out multiple times a week outside of Gymboree. Going here has really helped me form great friendships and makes motherhood easier!

My Family loves this place and the teachers! I highly recommend signing your kids up. Gymboree provides a safe, clean and nurturing environment that encourages learning through play. The lessons are very useful, listening skills, following directions, sharing, cognitive skills, all taught through fun activities. The play gym and the lessons change every month presenting something new and exciting for your child. The staff is nothing short of amazing. They are all great with the kids and welcoming to all the families. They've created a positive and supportive environment for both kids and adults. As a first time Mom, I worried about my son not having enough activities since he was born during covid. In my search to ease those anxieties I came across Gymboree and I'm so glad I did. I now have both my son and my daughter in Gymboree and they both ask to go to every single day. Hands down one of the best decisions I've made a parent.

Our 3 year-old loves going to her Gymboree classes. It’s the highlight of her day and possibly her week. The classes are well structured, organized and give a good balance between free play and guided interaction that changes every couple of weeks to keep it new and interesting for the kiddos. staff is friendly and pleasant. I’d recommend for any kiddos 0 to 3 or four years old. I was hesitant to enroll her initially thinking she was too outgrown of this phase, since we didn’t start until she was almost 2 1/2 years old but she enjoys it!

My baby loved the 0-6 month class. He's 3 and a half months old and had so much fun looking around and feeling the different sensory toys. I definitely reccomend for anyone who wants to get into an activity with thier baby to bond or do sensory play.
