About this class
Each 90-minute session focuses on a different developmental area like fine motor skills or early literacy, Ms. Laura leads activities that aren't just busy work - they're stuff your kid will actually benefit from. It's pretty laid-back, but there's definitely a plan behind it all - you'll start with welcome play, move through an opening circle, then dive into 45 minutes of open play where kids can explore different centers while caregivers get helpful tips and strategies.
Great for toddlers - basically once they're walking confidently until they're almost ready for preschool, these sessions let your child practice everything from social skills to language development through natural play.
When weather's nice, you'll even head outdoors for the final 30 minutes. Honestly, it hits that sweet spot between having some structure but still letting kids be kids, and you'll meet other parents dealing with the same toddler chaos you are.

My children and I have been participating in Community Playroom for 6 months now and we love it! Ms. Laura is warm, kind, patient and extremely engaging as well as creative with her weekly activities for the children. I feel as though it is not only my children that continue to learn from her, but myself, as a parent, as well. This is a truly wonderful community to be a part of!

I’m so grateful I came across Community Playroom. I had no idea what to expect when I pulled up to a residence, but from the moment I met Ms. Laura I just knew that she was dedicated to her craft. This is a passion and it truly comes across in all that she does! I tell whoever I can about Community Playroom. Community playroom has been such an amazing experience for us. My son looks forward to going each week and playing with his friends and Ms. Laura! It really has helped pull him out of his shell and open up playing with other children. Ms. Laura always has the cutest educational activities planned each week with different themes each month. Community Playroom is a wonderful resource for parents/caretakers to bring the little ones to a beautiful, clean, organized space with curated stations catered to weekly topics. The smaller class sizes allows for a more intimate setting that would not overwhelm a toddler. My child has made new friends and has learned new routines which has helped her overall confidence. Laura is a kind, caring and experienced teacher who really listens to the needs of child and parent. Highly recommend!

Community Playroom is the best! My daughter has loved coming here, participating in the engaging classes and meeting other children and moms from the area. It offers learning, flexibility and community. Ms. Laura is fantastic.
