Where do I begin, Baby Sign Language with Monta is by far the most educational and useful class that we took with our child. We started when she was around 11 months old, and she has learned over 20 signs during our time there. It took a while for her to start, but then she was picking up several new signs each week. Our baby was able to sign to us long before they typically talk, and it avoided a lot of frustration which is common for children at this age. Monta's class is fun for babies and parents, I truly enjoyed learning the signs and strategies myself. For parents who only have time and/or finances for 1 class with their child, I would recommend Monta's Baby Sign Language class without a doubt. It's not only a super fun and social class for making parents/ baby friends but also an educational activity that can be put to great practical use in your family!

We had a tremendously positive experience taking Monta's class! We started when my little one was 6 months, and finished all 3 levels because we both loved it and learned so much. Monta is wonderful with babies and toddlers, she makes each lesson engaging and fun. I was pleasantly surprised at how many signs my little one picked up (and STILL uses to this day at 24 months!). It helped him communicate early and continues to help him express himself today. I would recommend any parents and caretakers to bring their littles to Baby Sign Language Basics. Cannot write enough good things!

Monta's sign class was such a joy for me and my child! Like other parents I enjoyed the experience of learning the signs myself and it really opened up the communication with my daughter. She has been able to express thoughts and ideas that I never would have known she was capable of at this age. We started when she was 6 months and took all three sessions. I would estimate that she now has close to 100 signs, and she continues to learn even after attending the class. She loved going every week to interact with other kids, enjoy the music and do parachute! I highly recommend this class to parents.

We have had a wonderful experience with Monta’s classes for two kids now! Between the second and third levels of class, our first kid started signing around 10 or 11 months old and it made such a difference to be able to know what he was thinking about! We signed our second baby up as soon as he was old enough, and he can already do a few signs at 9 months. Great, fun class!

Monta is a wonderful teacher with a wealth of knowledge about using ASL to communicate with babies. My child and I attended for several levels of her courses in person and have gained so much. Monta does a great job modeling how to introduce signs that help communicating basic needs and fun, motivating signs. When we had to miss class, we were able to watch online. We also received a great reference book that goes along with the course with many pictures/explanations of signs.Thank you, Monta!
